-ADWAR launches "Palestinian Environment Guards" project
Wednesday 31/1/2018- Tarqumia -Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR launches its project entitled (Palestinian Environment Guards) funded by Global Environment Facility GEF/ Small Grants Programme SGP / United Nation Development Programme UNDP. In partnership with Environment Quality Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, Tarqumia Municipality, Beit Kahel Municipality, Tarqumia Women Charitable Organization, Tarqumia Women Club, and Cooperative Association for Saving and Credit-Beit Kahel. The project aims to institutionalize an active women's body called “Natural Reserve Guards " and to develop their capacities on their environmental development roles and accountability mechanisms in order to accountable decision-makers about their role in protecting and preserving Wadi Al Quff reservation.
 
ADWAR signs a project agreement In partnership with the UKAID
Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR signed a project agreement entitled (Supporting disadvantaged Bedouin and rural women to formalize and manage income-generating businesses, in south of Hebron and East Jerusalem). In partnership with the UKAID and funded by the European Union. That was with the presence of ADWAR’s general director Sahar Yousef AlKawasmeh and the program manager Mr.Maher Hamdan, as well as the projects manager Mrs.Sana’ Alawi. The project is going to be implemented in partnership with women members of women's protection committees in priority communities, in addition to the local and Bedouin councils, in cooperation with the chambers of commerce and industry and the Ministry of Women's Affairs. The project targets Bedouin and rural women in Bedouin and rural communities south of Hebron and East Jerusalem, classified as Area C. (Abu Nowar, east of Jerusalem, AlZweideen and Susiya south of Yatta and AlRamadin south of al-Dhahiriya in Hebron governorate).
 
ADWAR signs a project agreement to empower Bedouin women in decision-making and accountability within local councils
Roles for Social Change Association –ADWAR-RSCA signed a project agreement entitled (Empowering Bedouin women in decision-making and accountability within local councils) funded by the Netherland representative, with the presence of Ms.Lama AlTarzi and Mrs.Sahar Yousef AlKawasmeh ADWAR’s general director. The project will be implemented in partnership with local Bedouin counsels, the ministry of local government, ministry of women affairs, the General Union of Palestinian women-GUPW, Central Election Commission CEC and Maa’n T.V )
 
Elections of The Board of Directors for ADWAR Association -2016
On 20/6/2016, ADWAR association held a meeting in ADWAR hall for the general assembly to elect a new board of directors, which was attended by the members of the general assembly and ministry of interior representative Mr.Rami Ja’bari. As the old board resigned before in order to leave the new board a new opportunity in elections.

Roles for Social Change Association-ADWAR finished the project (Supporting gender equality regarding access to education in the south Hebron hill) funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK government in partnership with education directorate of South Hebron (Yatta), Yatta Municipality, HIRN, ACF, World Vision, in addition to the French organization (Citoyen Des Rues).
 
ADWAR provides psychosocial room equipment for Zeef girls caravan school
Roles for social change Association-ADWAR presented the psychosocial room equipment within (Supporting gender equality regarding access to education in the south Hebron hill) funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK government in partnership with education directorate of South Hebron (Yatta), Yatta Municipality, HIRN, ACF, World Vision, in addition to the French organization (Citoyen Des Rues).
 
Partnership agreement with Yatta Educational Directorate
ADWAR’s general director Sahar AlKawasmeh signed a partnership agreement ‘MOU’ with Educational directorate of Yatta represented by the general director Mr.Khaled Abu Sharar. The agreement was signed to confirm cooperation and partnership with Yatta Educational directorate in order to implement project activities entitled:” Supporting gender equality regarding access to education in the south Hebron hill” funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of UK government.
