The COVID-19 global pandemic has been ongoing for over one year, resulting in loss and negative socio-economic impact on our Member Countries. Small businesses and Poor communities have been hit the hardest and require additional attention. With lessons from the pandemic, we can now imagine and create innovative pathways to recovery for a more resilient and prosperous future, by generating more jobs and better health outcomes. Innovation can change the way affected communities interact and interface with the world to ease the challenges and restrictions caused by the pandemic. Hence it's crucial to crowdsource and support innovative ideas and inventions that address important needs.

From 17 March to 16 June 2021, UNESCO will receive applications to the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD). Established under the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, the IFCD is a voluntary multi-donor fund which supports the emergence of dynamic cultural sectors in developing countries.
FAO: Climate Resilient Agriculture (CRA) project

The objective of this proposal is to solicit technical and financial proposals from Non-Governmental Organizations to support WFP in the implementation of this activity in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank from May 2021-December 2022. The continuation of this activity beyond 2022 is contingent on the funding and the WFP’s Country Strategic Plan.

In the first initiative of its kind, the Palestinian Museum has announced 17 research grants on Palestinian culture. The initiative comes in fulfilment of one of the key components of the Museum’s 2019–2023 strategic programme and through its newly-established research department. The department’s programme is aimed at fostering civic engagement and reflexion, producing and disseminating knowledge about Palestine, and addressing knowledge gaps about Palestinian history and culture. The department’s first annual programme is funded with the generous support of Ghalia and Omar al-Qattan.
