Having the savage operations against unarmed Gaza Strip ended, the crisis became worse. Thousands are in a critical position. Oppressive siege bans or lessens the commodities and the medical supplies that meet the requirements of the wounded and disabled. According to the Palestinian central Bureau of Statistics, there are 18,000 disabled in Gaza Strip, and the number is increasing as a result of the Israeli occupation, blockage, and the recent war in Gaza. The latest statistic deposits about 5,000 disabled the majority are in total disability. They are in urgent need to the treatment and the rehabilitation. We, in the Society for the Care of Disabled Families which looks after the disabled and the disabled families presents a modest proposal summaries the requirements of the disabled in Gaza Strip.

 1- Emergency Assistance for the Disabled in Gaza:

Via our visits to the disabled and according to our evaluation to the needs of the disabled in the already stricken Gaza Strip, we concluded that the disabled need:

 -          A mobile clinic to the disabled.

-          Helping tools and medical devices.

-          A monthly salary to decrease the suffer of the disabled.

-          A highly qualified artificial parts.

-          A special cabs to transfer them to the training and rehabilitation centers.

-          Rehabilitation and re conflation programs.

-          Psychosocial support programs.

 Financial target for Emergency Assistance for the Disabled in Gaza is USD 6.0 million
