وجه برلمان شباب فلسطين رسالة إلى رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية باراك اوباما مطالبا إياه بالعمل الحثيث للقيام بدور ايجابي في تحقيق العدل والحرية للشعب الفلسطيني، ووقف كل ممارسات الحكومات الإسرائيلية المتعاقبة في سلب الأراضي الفلسطينية وبناء الجدار وتهويد القدس استمرارا بتوسيع المستوطنات مما يسبب ضررا بالغا بعملية السلام ، ويدفع المنطقة نحو حافة الهاوية من جديد.
وقد أكد البرلمان الشبابي على حق شعبنا بالحرية والاستقلال وإقامة الدولة المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشريف، لتحقيق الأمن والسلام في المنطقة، ودون ذلك فان الأجواء السياسية الحالية في ظل حكومة اليمين المتطرف تبقى مهيئة للاتجاه نحو التصعيد .
من جهته طالب البرلمان الشبابي بدفع مسيرة السلام وتطبيق قرارات الشرعية الدولية بما يلزم اسرائيل بالانسحاب فورا من حدود الرابع من حزيران والكف عن الممارسات القمعية بحق شعبنا.
هذا ويؤكد برلمان شباب فلسطين أن بدابة الحل في المنطقة يأتي عبر بوابة منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية الممثل الشرعي والوحيد للشعب الفلسطيني في كل أماكن تواجده.
وتمنى البرلمان للسيد اوباما عهدا جديدا تتحقق فيه العدالة الإنسانية والازدهار والتعايش لكل الشعوب في العالم.

Greetings President Obama,
The Palestinian Youth Parliament (PYP) would like to congratulate you on your recent election as the 44th President of the United States, and wish you success in implementing the changes to national and international policy proposed in your electoral campaign.
The PYP is a newly established institution that seeks to provide all Palestinian youth living in the West Bank and Gaza with the opportunity to express their goals for the future in a democratic atmosphere that respects the rights of all individuals regardless of party affiliation. The Parliament affirms the right of these youth to a peaceful, stable future in an independent Palestinian state focused on promoting regional and international development, established according to 1967 borders with its capital in Jerusalem.
As the Parliament launches its five-phase project to establish branches in the West Bank cities of Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Salfit, Tubas, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem it hopes to remind the world of the difficulty of implementing this project in an atmosphere of conflict. Palestinian youth have spent their entire lives in the shadow of the Occupation, stuck in a cycle of hopelessness and lack of independent problem-solving perpetuated by once-unimaginable restrictions and human rights violations. Although the creation of the Youth Parliament will partially address this issue, only the implementation of a comprehensive peace treaty will truly allow the youth of Palestine to reach their full potential.
The Palestinian Youth Parliament believes that the United States is a nation that is committed to upholding human rights, as well as playing a mediating role in international conflict. On behalf of the PYP, we ask you to address our desire to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and occupation cycle, and allow our children to enjoy a future of freedom, dignity and independence.
