History
1. Promoting Community Dialogue
We create spaces for open dialogue and negotiation, empowering communities and political parties to address conflicts peacefully. Our initiatives range from peace education in schools to facilitating public forums and dialogue groups that bring together diverse voices.
2. Mediation and Arbitration Services
ACT provides dedicated centers for mediation and arbitration, offering impartial platforms for resolving civil, commercial, and family disputes. Our trained mediators and arbitrators work to facilitate fair and sustainable solutions for all parties involved.
3. Capacity Building
Through specialized training programs, ACT enhances the skills of mediators, arbitrators, activists, and community leaders. By equipping individuals and institutions with the necessary tools for effective conflict resolution, we empower them to address disputes independently and constructively.
4. Policy Advocacy and Reform
We advocate for policies that integrate peaceful conflict resolution practices into governance systems. Through research and collaboration, ACT promotes frameworks that support alternative dispute resolution (ADR) at both local and regional levels.
5. Research and Knowledge Sharing
ACT generates valuable insights on conflict dynamics and civil peace through rigorous research. We disseminate these findings via publications, conferences, and an online platform, aiming to inspire and inform effective conflict resolution practices worldwide.
6. Regional Collaboration
Recognizing the interconnected nature of global conflicts, ACT collaborates with regional stakeholders to tackle broader peace and security challenges. We organize workshops, foster cross-border dialogue, and build networks of professionals working toward a shared vision of peace.
