Balad was established in June 2006. Throughout the activities conducted in the
Leaders Organization Annual Report 2009 consisting of the activities and events that the Organization carried out throughout the previous year.
The year 2008 could be considered as the most dangerous in the history of Ibdaa Cultural Center. There was huge impact on Ibdaa’s programs and activities after a series of violent attacks on the center. The prosperity and the progress of our center after the attacks can be partially attributed to the support of Dheisheh’s community leaders including national and social structures.

The Arab Thought Forum (ATF), known as Al Multaqa in Arabic, was established in Jerusalem in 1977 as an independent Palestinian organization. Based on democratic principles such as openness, transparency and freedom of expression, it provides a forum for Palestinian decision makers, public opinion leaders and citizens to express their views. It has no affiliation to any government, political party, or organization.
AMAN-Coalition for Integrity and Accountability was established in the year 2000 upon the initiative by a number of Palestinian civil society organizations working in the fields of democracy, human rights, and good governance. The program was designed to promote the values of integrity, principles of transparency and systems of accountability in the various Palestinian sectors with the aim of participating in the building of a national integrity system.
This Annual Report records the achievements of the Palestine Economic Policy ResearchInstitute - MAS in 2005. During this year we began implementing our strategic plan for2005-2007, whichwas developed in 2004 based on a survey of policy-makers’ main priorities. MASʹs approachis strongly participatory, and policy-makers in ministries and elsewhere arecontinuously consulted and involved in setting the research agenda.
