The Welfare Association Consortium for the Management of the Palestinian NGO Project, funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), has launched the first web-portal in Palestine (Masader) for the Palestinian NGOs. The Portal will establish an interactive site - the major source of information about the NGO sector in Palestine. A consortium of specialized institutions consisting of HDIP, Mizan Center and Palestinian Gateway has been contracted to design (Masader).
(Masader) has been designed in a way that enables and empowers every NGO or institution that participates in it, whether through viewing of its pages, or a membership that allows each member to both disseminate and download information. The interactive web-site will also provide specific services, such as an E-library, a Palestinian NGOs directory, an international development agencies directory, development news, local and international development work, forums for debate and vacancies, services and offers, funding opportunities, and facts and statistics about NGOs.
