Right to Live Society receives Stars Impact Award 2015

 
Muna Wahbe, Stars Foundation CEO, said that “Once again Impact Award winners, for this year, have demonstrated distinguished work in response to children’s needs, and they also have shown strength of their institutional and administrative practices. Flexible funding will allow these locally well-managed organizations to identify how they can spend the award fund in order to enhance the significance of the work they do. This year, we are glad to award wide range of countries reached to 12”.
  
 
On her side, Adala Abu Sitta – Abu Middain, RLS president, expressed her deep appreciation to Mr. Amr Al Dabbagh, founder of Stars Foundation, for his initiatives to encourage and support humanitarian organizations around the world. Abu Middain also spoke about efforts of partners and donors to fulfill this global achievement for RLS. She said “We stand speechless in front of all those who supported our activities and services financially and morally”.
 
 
Ahmed Al Helou, RLS executive manager, highlighted the importance of this event. He stressed that it represents new starting point for RLS towards hard work to develop quality of services and boost international partnerships. Mr. Al Helou also thanked RLS staff for such accomplishment.  
 
 
It is worth mentioning that this year’s Impact Award was awarded to 24 organizations for different countries. The award is $50,000, unrestricted amount, plus special support for winners’ capability building.
