Moreover, it aims to institutionalize Women Protect Committees in the Bedouin community of East of Jerusalem, in which these Women protection Committees will work on providing community initiatives to contribute in developing community roles and providing community services to women and individuals of these communities. As well, this project aims to develop women's advocacy, lobbying and accountability methods, and to fill the gaps in women's participation in leading the change.
Besides, the general director of ADWAR, Ms. Sahar Alkawasmeh pointed out the importance of this phase of the project as it plays a key role in institutionalize Women Protection Committees play a distinguished leadership role and to highlight women and girls issues. In addition she showed how this phase is considered a great opportunity for these Women Protection Committees to play their leadership roles.
