The Belgian Government is pleased to announce the launch of the Micro Intervention Program 2008. The program is funded by the Belgian Ministry of Cooperation and designed to fund small scale development projects by individuals , organizations and communities in need. It aims to meet the essential needs through visible sustainable development initiatives.The projects focus on minority groups and village communities in areas such as socio-cultural development, education , health , youth development , basic infrastructure , and small income generating activities. Who is eligible to apply?Any organization, institution, village, community or group pursuing development goals and focus on minority groups as well as infrastructure or capacity development. What is the Budget allocated?The maximum budget allocated does not exceed 12.000 euros per project.When is the application deadline?The MIP application deadline is April 15, 2008. Any application received after the deadline will not be accepted.
