Strengthening the Role of Civil Society in Promoting Human Rights and Democratic Reform, in Facilitating the Peaceful Conciliation of Group Interests and in Consolidating Political Participation and Representation

The European Union Representative Office to the occupied Palestinian territory is seeking proposals for activities and initiatives that support human rights and democracy under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights Country Based Support Schemes (EIDHR-CBSS) 2011 Programme, mainly aiming at strengthening the role of civil society in promoting human rights, democratic reform, rule of law, good governance, rights of vulnerable groups including children, women, the disabled and the elderly as well as promoting freedom of expression and freedom of association with particular emphasis on policy dialogue and decision-making process.
The financial assistance is allocated from the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR-CBSS) - Programme 2011.
