WAFAC ends the educational and supportive project for students with special needs in South of Nablus schools

Nablus - Center for Women and Family - under the slogan “the education is a right for all”, Women and Family Affairs Center ended the eighth stage ACT project, that provided support for students with special needs in the educational process, in collaboration with the Directorate of Education - south of Nablus and funded by the United Nations Human Rights / Office of the Commissioner High and UNDP.
The project targeted ten schools belonging to the Directorate of Education, south of Nablus as well as some individual cases that have been followed up based on parents’ desire. The project targeted in its activities 26 students from primary grades and 20 teachers from inclusive education program in those schools as well as parents and friends of children who participated in the project. As those students benefited from tutorial sessions in Arabic language and Mathematics and entertainment meetings depending on their need, and meetings were conducted to students parents in order to provide them with educational mechanisms to facilitate dealing and educating their children with the special needs, also friends of these students underwent to meetings for acceptance and support of these students within the school, while teachers of inclusive education program were provided with new mechanisms to deal with people with special needs through a number of meetings.
