NDC Signs Grant Implementation Agreements with Four Health Civil Society Organisations

Jerusalem, 29 January 2026 – The NGO Development Center (NDC) signed Grant Implementation Agreements (GIAs) on Thursday, 29 January 2026, with four leading Palestinian health civil society organizations for a total amount of SEK 66,500,000 (around USD 7.5 million) over a three-year period under the framework of the “Primary Healthcare NGO Consortium (2026-2029)” project which is managed by NDC and funded by Sweden.

The signing took place at NDC’s main office in Al-Ram with the presence of representatives from the four implementing partners, including the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS), the Palestinian Family Planning and Protection Association (PFPPA), the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), and Juzoor for Health & Social Development.

In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Ghassan Kasabreh expressed his deep gratitude for the generous support of Sweden for the project and for their commitment to invest in the health sector, praising as well NDC’s partnership with the four prominent partners who have various competencies and expertise in primary healthcare, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and early childhood development. Throughout the project, the four partners will work together towards the achievement of collective outcomes within the identified areas, utilizing their individual agency strengths towards collective impact in complementarity and full coordination with the Ministry of Health.

The project aims to support the attainment of primary healthcare to all those in need with focus on vulnerable communities and groups, as it supports building a resilient primary healthcare system capable to provide preventive and curative care.

Through this consortium, NDC and its partners aim to deliver integrated, high-quality primary healthcare services while laying the groundwork for long-term health system resilience.
