Within “ the Training Youths and School Children on Human Rights” project Future Generation Hands Association has conducted training course for the fifth group, financed and supported by Welfare Association and Austrian Development Agency.
The training course began with the participation of 18 students from An-Najah National University from different disciplines , most of them from the Faculty of Law. the Participants will acquired a lot of information, skills , new and varied experiences within 30 hour training that which would qualify them to participate in the second phase of the project where they will organize and lead meetings, seminars and workshops with different sectors of society, In addition to poster and signature campaign for 2000 signatures in advocacy for human rights.
Today and after 5 months of the beginning of this program which has played a positive role especially among university students which it is important to establish the concept of “human rights and democratic practices” among the participants in the northern region ,Where the number of students who willing to attend this session was above expectations this shows the importance of this program .and from this point the FGHA invited the other organizations in north region to give more attention to this subject because of its great importance .
Mr .Majed Tubeileh the Director of FGHA welcomed the attendees and talked about the role of FGHA and its services in various areas and for different categories, and he further emphasized the importance of this program to raise awareness of culture and concepts of human rights and democracy among Palestinian youth .
The Future Generation Hands Association went through several phases where it began with the Foundation phase and then the second phase which lasted two and a half years it was the phase of steadfastness and fortitude and the third phase is the work and construction phase it is an important step from the practical point in order to achieve the future vision which formed the first professional staff in the Association who has the ability to submit applications and obtain financing.
Now in 2010 and after five years after its founding ,FGHA become in the foreground in term of vision and practical experience . Therefore, we must work hard in the future within the methodology and a clear strategy,
