Deir Jarir woman society for development is a non-profit organization, which was established in 2002 in the village of deir jarir in ramallah governorate. The society aims to develop and activate the role of woman in the economical, social and health fields and to activate their contribution to public life inside the village and the community as whole. Seven women have taken the initiative of establishing the society and have exerted all the efforts and devoted their capacity to develop and expand its functions. The Society headquarters is located in the Institutions street at the center of the village .Originally, the space used to house a public clinic and was donated to the society by the village council. The building was rehabilitate and annexed with a hall and a sanitary unit through a grant from the welfare Association they formed the society's first board.
