As part of its efforts to raise community awareness and ensure the safe delivery of humanitarian aid, Fares Al-Arab Foundation for Development carried out a series of 15 community awareness sessions last week in several displacement camps, gathering sites, and shelters.
The sessions focused on the importance of protecting civilians’ lives and avoiding exposure to danger while trying to access aid, as well as emphasizing the need to allow the safe passage of aid trucks without obstruction to ensure that assistance reaches its rightful beneficiaries in larger quantities and without endangering lives.
This activity is implemented in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and coincides with a media campaign aimed at spreading wider awareness messages within the community to ensure the continued flow of aid and maximize its impact.
